Darryl Vidal is a Ju Dan (10th degree) Grandmaster in Kenpo Karate (Chinese). He has been teaching martial arts for almost 50 years. He has operated Vidal Kenpo Karate through the Murrieta Parks and Recreation Department since 1989. Over the past 30+ years, he has trained more than 10,000 students and tested and promoted 33 to the level of Sho Dan (Black Belt).
Sensei Darryl Vidal and his assistants teach Kenpo Karate Tuesday and Thursday nights. Students advance through a belt testing and promotion process that can culminate in achievement of Black Belt Rank. Register at City of Murrieta Parks & Recreation.
Ages 7 - up.
Beginning Kenpo Karate is an eight-week session with one-hour classes each Tuesday night, 6pm. At the end of the session, students will text for their Yellow Belt.
Intermediate Karate is an eight-week session and meets Tuesday and Thursday nights. Students from Yellow Belt through Blue Belt learn Katas, Kumite (Sparring), Self-Defense Techniques, and Weapons.
Advanced Karate is an eight-week session and meets Tuesday and Thursday nights. Students from Blue Belt through Black Belt learn Katas, Kumite (Sparring), Self-Defense Techniques, and Weapons.

Darryl Vidal is Founder and Guro of the Murrieta Stick-Fighting Club. Filipino Martial Arts (FMA) is a mixture of common arts from the Philippine Islands known as Escrima, Arnis, and Kali.
Students learn and employ many styles of weapons from the rattan stick, to bladed weapons and empty hands.
